Air Charter Scotland’s Cessna Citation CJ4, formerly registered as LN-BEM, is now transitioning to the Maltese register as 9H-BEM, operating under the company’s European Air Operator Certificate (AOC).The change strengthens Air Charter Scotland’s charter capability, allowing the aircraft to operate more efficiently across the EU by removing the requirement for ad-hoc charter permits on intra-EU missions. It also reduces the operational constraints associated with cross-border flying, enabling efficient aircraft deployment and greater flexibility for brokers and clients.
The project also demonstrates the expertise of Air Charter Scotland’s in-house Aircraft Management and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) teams, who manage every stage of the re-registration process to minimise downtime and ensure full regulatory compliance.
