GRADUATE CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGEMENT ORGANISATION (CAMO) ENGINEER (MALTA)
We are currently looking to recruit a Graduate Continuing Airworthiness Management
Organisation (CAMO) Engineer to join our award-winning and continuously expanding business at Malta Office. Our team at Air Charter Scotland Europe support the business in Malta and worldwide. The main role of the Graduate CAMO Engineer is to work within the CAMO department of a Business Jet Operator to ensure the airworthy state of the Company managed fleet. You will report to the Technical Services Manager from a regulatory point of view. Over a 3-4 year period, you will learn all facets of CAMO: technical services, maintenance planning and technical record administration; and will assist with the coordination of all airworthiness tasks as defined in the Continuing Airworthiness
Management Exposition (CAME).
Your Responsibilities
- Assist CAM/LMC with line maintenance control for company aircraft and liaison with Part 145 facilities
- Monitoring of NAA issued regulations and publications for updates that affect fleet
- Airworthiness, processes and procedures
- Review and control of source technical information published by airframe and engine manufacturers
- Construction, management, review and development of the approved maintenance
- Programmes IAW M.A.302
- Review and control of Airworthiness Directives and Operational Directives applicable to the company aircraft and installed equipment
- Review and control of all non-mandatory airworthiness data (service bulletins/service letters etc.) as issued by the type certificate/supplemental type certificate holder(s) for the company aircraft and installed equipment. Implementing action plans as required
- Ensure that the mass and balance statement reflects the correct configuration and status of the aircraft
- Ensure the acceptable damage chart reflects the correct status of the aircraft
- Review fleet reliability data, investigate trends and propose corrective actions
- Control of maintenance tracking programmes for the managed aircraft;
- Assist with the development and control of the company base maintenance planning schedule
- Raise work orders, obtain quotations and select MRO providers for base maintenance inputs
- Maintain continuing airworthiness records in accordance with Part M
- Assist with the collation and management of original records with due consideration for the regulatory and program storage obligations
- Assist and support the ARC Signatory with the collation of airworthiness review reports
- Assist with the introduction and conclusion of aircraft to and from the company controlled environment
- Ensure continual process and productivity improvements
- Liaison with the aircraft, engine and equipment manufacturers regarding continuing airworthiness matters
- Liaison with company operations and aircrew
- Liaison with National Aviation Authorities
- Other areas of technical services as required

Job Type: 3 – 4 years (Subject to development)
Working Schedule: 37.5 hours Monday to Sunday (0700-2000)
Requirements
- Honours (Minimum 2-2) OR masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent through experience; (Required) or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (desired)
- Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills (desired)
- ICT literate (specific aviation software such as Leon, CAMP, Centrik or similar) (Desired, specific software will be part of OJT)
- Commercial awareness (desired)
- Knowledge and understanding of the processes & procedures (airworthiness management, operations, compliance, safety) carried out by the company; (not essential)
